Back from Los Angeles

Back in town after going to LA for a couple of days to offer support for my friend and friend's father who just got out of the hospital. Warm/hot days and cool nights still in that part of the country. And lots and lots of traffic (heavy traffic is no fun, not at all!)
So now I gots to get ready for a Holiday Bazaar coming up in a few days!!! Jewelry, pet portraits, baskets and more will be on the venue. Come check it out -- Mountain View High School Holiday Bazaar, Saturday, November 1st from 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.

I don't know what happened to the "draft" that I started. Oh well. Here is a scan of a portrait that I'm working on. The original photo was from a CELL PHONE CAMERA :( so there isn't much detail and the color is hard to determine, but other than that, I think it's a good start...

Okay then, five hours of work and now I'm home - yay! Getting ready to do some eBay listings, and maybe some on Etsy too. The question is whether I'm going to go out of town tomorrow or not... Shall I just flip a coin? hmmm.
Some fun stuff on eBay now: a Harrah's pocket knife from the 1960s together with a lucky penny - very fun vintage item, then there's a bunch of Western Airlines items - posters mostly, but also some coasters. Or how about a Lani Sakai Pastel Pet Portrait?
