Trying this Blogging thing again... PIF

Okay, here goes another try at blogging (now that I have only one day off before I have to go back to work again for 9 days!) I'm joining the Pay It Forward challenge! If you leave a comment on my blog, you can partake too!

This is how it works....

I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don't know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.

Now I see...

I have to go all the way to the top (top right of the screen) to do a new blog posting. (I had been trying to do it on the upper right where it says "New Post" thing; just didn't go high enough!!!)

So maybe now I'll be updating this thing a little more often. We shall see...

Interested in any Western Airlines posters from bygone days? Check out lanisakai.com and bid if you see anything you like.

Wednesday 11/12/08

Time to step up the cleaning and organizing routine. A day at a time. (I know very boring, this blog is, but what the hey?) Who lives life through blogs anyway? More sales, more shipments, and then the whole cycle repeats itself. okey dokey, ttyl.

Back from Los Angeles

Back in town after going to LA for a couple of days to offer support for my friend and friend's father who just got out of the hospital. Warm/hot days and cool nights still in that part of the country. And lots and lots of traffic (heavy traffic is no fun, not at all!)

Original photo of cat from Cell Phone

Okay, here's the original photo that I received (thought you might like to see so you can compare)...

Cat Portrait from Cell Phone Photo

I don't know what happened to the "draft" that I started. Oh well. Here is a scan of a portrait that I'm working on. The original photo was from a CELL PHONE CAMERA :( so there isn't much detail and the color is hard to determine, but other than that, I think it's a good start...
